Description
nothing ahead / nothing behind is the new album of rose blanket, the musical project of miguel days. It is a double disc recorded intermittently between December 2008 and February 2011, in a first stage in the C-House with airing josé and later in lisbon at the golden pony studio with Magalhães pedro. The recordings in barcelos are determinants for the sound of the album, given that they have elapsed in a dwelling house and in several of their divisions, allowing for a space proper for the songs, outside the traditional concept of studio.
miguel days signs the authorship of the themes and the set of musicians invited to participate is in the essential identical to that of the previous album. on the other hand, it is u5605064304191
m disc less individualistic and whose construction and growth was more shared by miguel days, not only with josé arantes and pedro magalhães that recorded and co-produced, but also with musicians, in particular Filipa caetano, miguel gomes, andré simão and pedro goatl, with a more constant participation along the disc(s). They add the vocal participations of jennifer charles (elysian fields) and dana schechter (New York multi-instrumentist who, in addition to his own bee and flower project collaborates with michael gira and american music club among others).
