Description
hemispheres that will once again be edited by hepta, now arises as a revision of the path
the last 10 years. having initially lived in exclusive of its originals, the group moved in 2006 to the revision of traditional Portuguese that nowadays represent almost half of its live repertoire. Thus the idea, in the form of celebration, to make a double disc, in which on one side would be the original compositions, a brand image, and on the other the recreations of traditional Portuguese, of regions not yet worked by the group.
in the last 3 years the band made concerts a little around the world, in rooms and spain festivals,
Andorra, belgica, alemanha, polonia, Czech Republic, Swiss, aotria, Estonia, canada, mexico and green cable.
2009 will further mark this international aspect with a large German tour (with 21 concerts)
marked to date and where they will play in Berlin for the first time) and shows in countries such as malasia, singapura, croacia, italia, steinia and aotria.
complicated will now be to define in what musical genre are inserted. the search for a label will leave unsatisfied one and another because it will not be easy to define a sound that echoes to traditional and ethereal spaces,
resvalando often for a powerful rock spiced with strong rhythms that in the background are only played on acoustic instruments in a non-traditional way.
more importantly it will be to think that after 10 years, the dazkarieh created their sound, their unique approach to Portuguese music, root u no, it doesn't matter when we are facing one of the most international and creative Portuguese groups.
Artist
Dazkarieh is a traditional Portuguese music, alternative rock and neofolk band that began in 1999. Inspired by various world cultures and based in the most diverse instruments, e.g. Galician gaita, accordion, western concert flute, tin whistle, African percussion instruments, Arabic percussion, bass and guitar. Initially the group was producing sounds that center on an imaginary vocal language, created by the group, for the purpose of treating the clear voice as a standalone instrument, comparable to the others.
