on return to lisbon after a stay of several years in the brasil, lucilia of the carmo decided to open his own house of fados, which began by being the winery of the lucilia, in the upper neighborhood, before his husband, alfredo de almeida, find the name rather difficult to pronounce by foreign tourists. Thus the beech was created, in whose direction it remained for several decades, while his son - carlos do carmo - also became an emeritus singer and fado singer.
