Zeppelin levou formado fora das cinzas de The Yardbirds. Jimmy Page se juntou à banda em seus últimos dias, jogando um papel fundamental no álbum final do grupo, Little Games, de 1967, que também contou com arranjos de corda de John Paul Jones.
