O projecto melódico de Death/Doom Metal finlandês Swallow the Sun regressa às edições com Emerald Forest and the Black Bird pela Spinefarm. Com produção de Mikko Karmila, (Nightwish, Children Of Bodom & Amorphis) Emerald Forest and the Black Bird dos Swallon the Sun, liderados pelo guitarrista Juha Raivio, é baseado numa velha lenga-lenga finlandesa, acabando por nos tomar de assalto perante riffs intensos e melódicos. Após o grandioso sucesso de New Moon em 2009 (entrada para o top10 finlandês), o novo disco conta com a vocalista dos Nightwish, Anette Olzon em Cathedral Walls para abrilhantar a beleza intensa das canções dos Swallon the Sun!
