Folk rock/psychedelic rock banda formada em 1965 em Berkeley, Califórnia por Country Joe McDonald e Barry Melton "(The Fish.") A banda foi dissolvida após sua performance final em 21 de junho de 1970. Eles reformaram em 1976 para tocar alguns shows e gravar o álbum Reunion.
