Although some members have played together for a few years, it was born in late 2004 with a repertoire of original songs sung in Portuguese. Since then, the interest and support given to this project by the press, radio and public has been great.
at the invitation of the free sound editor, they recorded the theme "act not react", for the novel "deit almost everything", tvi. the theme "urban scarf" is the chosen for the new novel "Tell me of love", tvi. in January and February 2006, record the album "5 senses" in a free sound partnership and magicx productiuons.

Massala nasce em finais de 2004 com um repertório de canções originais cantadas em português.
A convite da editora Som Livre, gravaram o tema "Agir não reagir", para a novela "Dei-te Quase Tudo" (TVI). O tema "Caracol Urbano" é o escolhido para a nova novela "Fala-me de Amor" (TVI). Em Janeiro e Fevereiro de 2006, gravam o álbum "5 Sentidos", numa parceria Som Livre e Magicx Productions.
Entretanto, os temas “Na palma da tua mão" e “Voar por aí" foram escolhidos para passarem na novela “Floribella” da SIC.
São cinco os membros de Massala, daí o nome do álbum "5 sentidos".
