kill uncle is the second album of morrissey on solo. Edited in March 1991 he was greatly attacked by criticism and served to have many advocated the end of the career of the British singer. This fact, however, did not prevent the album from reaching the number 8 of the English top sales. kill uncle is a hard-description album, possibly the words that best define it will be “stranho” u “unexpected”. criticism aside, the uniqueness of this album creates a highly seductive atmosphere, especially for the most dedicated fans.

The present edition features the sound remastered by bill inglot, is presented in a digipack packaging with a fully refurbished graphics, immense contemporary photographs and a version of “There’s a place in hell for me and my Friends”, only edited in an American ep, instead of the original version.

Artist

British vocalist, born May 22, 1959, in Manchester, United Kingdom. Former lead singer of The Smiths. Morrissey started his career as a lead singer for punk bands. He formed Sulky Young (renamed The Tee Shirts) and later joined The Nosebleeds (formed in the early 1970s under the name Wild Ram) with Billy Duffy (The Cult), replacing Ed Banger and Vini Reilly. However, in his autobiography Morrissey denied ever being a member of The Nosebleeds. He claims that Duffy recruited him after the break up of The Nosebleeds and they wrote songs together. For their live performances they hadn't decided on a band name. They roped in the rhythm section of The Nosebleeds and Paul Morley used this name for a live review.
