Jay Enos and Jimmy Grandmont were originally with the Vandels who played the South Shore during 1963. After they split Grandmont formed The Bourbons with other Vandels members, but would inevitably team up with Enos again, when the latter formed the Morning After whilst at Dean Junior College in Franklin.
