Description
the sixth Canadian of the suburbs of Toronto, the most serene republic, formed in 2003 and little
then signed the contract that links them to the publishing arts & crafts. were the first band of the publisher who did not
included an element of the broken social scene.
in 2005 they toured the United States with the stars and so released their music in that country, where they had and continues to have great receptivity.
they mix pop with electronics and sometimes there are R&B sounds, and musicas like heavens to
purgatory, vessels of a donor look, the old forever new things, four humours and Don ́t hold back, feel a
little longer show that they do it very well.
this album was produced by dave newfeld (broken social scene, super furry animals, los campesinos!)

The Most Serene Republic is a Canadian indie rock band based in Milton, Ontario which takes its name from the sobriquet of formerly independent Venice under the Doges, which was regarded as "The Most Serene Republic of Venice".
They were the first band signed by Arts & Crafts that was not related to Broken Social Scene in any way or form.
