Artist
Cellist born near Lyon, France in 1971. Gastinel began playing the cello at the age of 4 and played a televised concert at the age of 10. She received her musical education at the Lyons Conservatoire and the Conservatoire de Paris. As well as her solo performing career, Gastinel has also been Professor of Cello at the Lyons Conservatoire since 2003.
