Artist
Danish jazz and poprock vocalist, b. Sept. 9th 1964, Frederiksberg, Denmark.
In her first decade as performing artist she was heard mostly in pop settings. Still a teenager, in 1982 she was one of the founders of the funk band Street Beat and the following year part of the Jazz/Funk group Frontline (15), that released the albums "Frontline" and "Frontlife". In the years 1985 to 1993 she achieved national fame as one of the two female vocalists of the popular powerpop group One Two (2).
From then on however she has appeared as a jazz vocalist only. In 1995 she was signed to the jazz label Blue Note and released the selftitled solo debut album. Aiming at an international breakthrough she released four studio albums on Blue Note Records, followed by the live album "London/Paris" recorded during the Europe tour in 2003.
