Description
Since rjd2 has been catapulted to fame in 2002, it has received many and varied praises. is not an easily classifiable author, thanks to ?dead ringer,? 2002 and the ?since we last spoke,? of 2004, works very well received by criticism and public in general. It has been said to be a hip-hop super-producer and a virtuous musician. now, with this new album, we add to the category list a new denomination: cantautor enigmatic.
with this third hand? rjd2 has gone further musically and abandons all titles and catalogues that have been assigned to it in the last six years. for the first time on a disk of yours, the instruments are real, in combination with samples and sequences. and the voice of rjd2. the resultaldo is a coherent and pop album, in the classical sense of the word. It's all in its place. a smart, complete and rich disk.
Artist
Born as Ramble Jon Krohn on May 27, 1976 in Eugene, Oregon, but Columbus, Ohio was where RJD2 was born. Starting off as the producer behind Megahertz (or simply Mhz), and coming out on his own in 2001 on the Def Jux Presents... compilation. From there, he's grown from being labeled "the next DJ Shadow" to standing on his own, making music alone and producing beats for others.
