the name of charlie haden is internationally recognized. began playing bass in 1957, he was the founder of liberation music orchestra (1696), and is a deep scholar of other musical records, having worked with musicians such as egberto gismonti (brasil), dino saluzzi (argentina) and even with carlos walls (portugal).
in 2010 he met as his employees of always «Quartet West» to face a project
very ambitious: ?sophisticated ladies?. At a time when jazz crosses one of the world's most recognizable phases, this project brings together instrumentalist exhymes with a range of voices at the highest level: cassandra wilson, diana krall, melody gardot, norah jones and renee flaming.
