Expo?86 is also the name of an international fair that vancouver received between May and October of that year. This fair saw, in the warm summer of 86, 4 young imberbes, there to the sides of the tent that presented the cars of the future, make a pact. the quartet promised to form a band. 17 years later, the wolf stopped for the gaudium of at least all those who do not live without guitar solos (we are still a few).

true all-star team, the wolf parade are spencer krug (frog eyes, sunset rubdown), dan boeckner (handsome furs), dante decaro (hot hot heat) and arlen thompson (arcade fire). in expo 86 the band seems to bet on a greater crusty. quite different from at mount zoomer (2008), expo 86 is from the most direct albums we will hear this year. Pure and hard rock, no concessions.

Wolf Parade is an indie rock band formed in 2003 in Montreal, Quebec of musicians from British Columbia. The band went on indefinite hiatus in 2011, but announced its return to recording and performing in January 2016.
