Description
after the authentic tide that provoked with its monumental seven inches?Don?t need smoke to make myself disappear,? the pissed jeans edit their second album by the North American sub pop: hope for men. and how to define it? maybe high-intensity punk with an Australian touch and a slight grunge aroma (that dirty, with uncontrolled feedback and fuzzdrives;) u perhaps a crossing between birthday party and the pil, metal box phase.
but more than that, also a bright student of classes taught by masters such as the dead kennedys, black flag, melvins u jesus lizard, u at some times the most obsessive of a tom waits.
a diverse album, which mixes transcendence with humor, without being pretentious. smart and exciting. deliciously free but never boçal. one of those records that come out a lot of when and that leaves us the feeling of listening to something important.
