in the search of his carioca imaginary, whip came to Rio, his nickname of adolescence all passed on the paulo of his father. He found the key to talking about his city with the youthful and speculative spirit typical of the age in which he earned such a nickname. And so, as anyone who wants nothing, speaking of his city, his imaginary, can once again paint a symbolic and sentimental portrait of us, his listeners.

the disc is the result of this atypical Carioca spirit that hit the whip. in practice, in at least nine of the 12 songs of the cd, the river of January is present. to start soon by the first track, the most explicit of all, the choro-cantion suburb, an ode (anti-)lyre so buarquean to that river ?that does not figure on the map / on the mountainside?.
