Back for Good is the seventh studio album and first comeback album by German duo Modern Talking, originally released in 1998, following the reunion of the duo after a hiatus of over 10 years.

Back for Good consists of eighteen tracks including new versions of 11 previous singles, four new songs, two remixes and a medley. The album stayed at number one in Germany for five consecutive weeks and managed to top the charts in fifteen countries. It became the fifth best sold album of that year worldwide and is one of the best-selling Modern Talking albums ever.

Modern Talking, composto pelo produtor / compositor Dieter Bohlen e vocalista Thomas Anders, foi formado em 1984 em Berlim pela gravadora Hansa. O estúdio também incluiu Luis Rodriguez, Ralf Stemmann, Rolf Köhler, Michael Scholz, Detlef Wiedeke e Birger Corleis.
Seu single de estreia "You're My Heart, You're My Soul" alcançou o topo das paradas pop alemãs e foi No.1 por 6 semanas. Eles desembarcaram no topo das paradas em 17 países, incluindo o top 15 do Japão, sendo o primeiro ato alemão a entrar na parada japonesa. O single também foi No.1 em Israel e Turquia, No.2 na África do Sul, No.56 no Reino Unido.
Após 6 álbuns ao redor do verão de 1987, Thomas Anders & Dieter Bohlen foi caminhos separados.
