Artista

Formado em 1934 por Willie Johnson, William Langford, Henry Owens e Orlandus Wilson, que eram co-estudantes do ensino médio na Virgínia. Rapidamente se tornando um dispositivo de rádio na Carolina do Norte, em 1938, o grupo foi para se apresentar no Carnegie Hall, em Nova York, como parte do concerto de John Hammond's Spirituals To Swing. Para os próximos 60+ anos O Quarteto visitou nacional e internacionalmente a aclamação mundial.
