Mitch Ryder (nascido em 26 de fevereiro de 1945) é um cantor de rock and roll americano de Detroit, Michigan, que teve uma série de canções de sucesso na década de 1960, na frente de sua banda The Detroit Wheels. A banda Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels existia entre 1964 e 1967. Em 1969 Ryder & Johnny Badanjek e alguns outros músicos estabeleceram uma nova banda chamada The Band Detroit aka Detroit (2), que gravou um álbum de mesmo nome em 1971. Os esforços musicais de Ryder veriam menos sucesso após o início dos anos 1970. Em 2005, Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels foram introduzidos no Michigan Rock and Roll Legends Hall of Fame, e em 2009, Mitch Ryder foi introduzido como artista solo.
