Banda britânica de rock progressivo/hard fundada em 1969 em Londres.
Eles começaram como Spice (15) e lançaram um single de 7" como tal em 1968. O único que está na banda desde o início é o guitarrista Mick Box.
O nome Uriah Heep é retirado do romance David Copperfield de Charles Dickens.
