Os Kinks são uma banda de rock inglesa formada em Muswell Hill, North London, em 1964 pelos irmãos Ray e Dave Davies, Mick Avory e Pete Quaife. Durante a sua existência eles tocaram diferentes estilos de rock (n roll) música.
Pete Quaife foi-se embora. Os Kinks durante os ensaios do Arthur ou The Decline And Fall Of The British Empire. Em uma entrevista de junho de 2018, Ray Davies afirmou que ele, juntamente com o irmão Dave, e o baterista Avory, havia reformado The Kinks para um novo álbum de estúdio e para potencialmente executar ao vivo.
