Artista

Grupo electrónico britânico, fundado em 1990. Seu primeiro lançamento foi "What Evil Lurks" EP (1991). Sua música inicial foi principalmente rave/breakbeat, mas tornou-se mais mainstream misturando em guitarras de rock com o terceiro álbum "The Fat Of The Land" (1997).

Maxim - MC, beatboxing, vocais (1990-presente)

Keith Flint - dança (1990-2019; morreu 2019;) vocal principal (1995-2019)
Leeroy Thornhill - dança, teclados ao vivo ocasionais, sintetizadores (1990-2000)
Sharky - dança (1990-1991)

A linha original Prodigy foi Liam nos teclados e Leeroy, Keith e Sharky como dançarinos. Maxim foi recrutado em breve para MC em seu show de estreia no Labrynth em Dalston, Londres. Sharky deixou o grupo no Natal de 1990 depois que eles conseguiram seu contrato com XL, pois ela não queria dedicar mais tempo à banda. Seu acordo inicial com XL foi para 4 singles, com XL pagando um £1500 adiantamento antes do primeiro single.
Liam Howlett usou brevemente o pseudônimo Earthbound (6) (nomeado após o estúdio de Liam) para os lançamentos originais de verão de faixa branca de "One Love" (1993).
Leeroy Thornhill deixou a banda em 2000.
Keith Flint morreu por suicídio em 4 de março de 2019.
