Inglês new wave / post-punk / banda pop rock fundada em 1976 em Crawley, West Sussex. A banda foi inicialmente chamada Malice em 1976, Easy Cure em 1977, e finalmente The Cure em 1978. A banda viu muitas mudanças de line-up, mas Robert Smith foi o vocalista / compositor / vocalista / guitarrista ao longo de sua existência. Introduzido no Rock And Roll Hall of Fame em 2019.
